Cars in German Town Discovered Covered with Nazi Symbols in Human Blood, Police State

Incident location Affected vehicle Area Law Enforcement
Officers stated they were contacted by a man who noticed a car in Hanau covered with red-colored liquid

Around 50 vehicles have been covered with what appears to be human blood in the German town of Hanau in proximity to Frankfurt, according to authorities.

Cars, exterior walls and mailboxes were defaced, occasionally with swastikas, they stated in a release.

Police state they were alerted in the late hours on Wednesday, when a resident noticed that a automobile in the Lamboy area of Hanau had been smeared with a red-colored liquid.

The substance had been drawn in the shape of a Nazi symbol, they added.

Law enforcement then found numerous other marked vehicles and building exteriors in the nearby vicinity.

Swastikas are banned in Germany under legislation banning the public display of Nazi symbols.

Law enforcement report initial examinations suggest the substance was most likely human bodily fluid.

"Currently there is no clue as to where it came from; officials are not yet informed of any injuries in connection with the occurrence," they stated.

City officials said they were attempting "to resolve the case" and have asked to the residents for details.

A senior official commented the vandalism made him speechless and had to be solved quickly.

"This act strikes at the center of Hanau and reawakens the pain of the far-right terrorist attack half a decade ago," he wrote on a platform, recalling the murder of nine people by a shooter aiming at people of migrant background in five years prior.
